Flusso starts building global sales and marketing team

Thomas Negre, who was previously global marketing director at Honeywell Analytics, has joined as VP sales and marketing at Flusso to develop and lead the company’s go-to-market strategy.


Thomas is one of three new appointments announced today as the company starts building up its product sales and marketing operation in readiness to take its first product – the FLS110 flow sensor – into volume production within the next few months.

He brings over 25 years’ experience in directing strategy, business development, sales and marketing of flow and gas sensor solutions into his new role at Flusso. When Thomas was at Honeywell Analytics, the world’s number one gas detection company, he was responsible for the strategic marketing and product management of a business line worth over US $700 M.

Flusso has also expanded its regional sales and customer support teams with the appointment of two dedicated sales executives: James Norman, who is based in Minneapolis, has joined as director of business development (North America); and Ho Wong, based in Hong Kong, is leading sales activities in the Asia region.

Thomas is well known and respected within the sector, he has helped launch several breakthrough technologies and product platforms, and will be instrumental in driving our ambitious product sales strategies.

Before joining Flusso, Thomas spent seven years in senior global product management roles with Honeywell Analytics in Switzerland and in Silicon Valley, and a similar period in office with RAE Systems (RAE), the gas detection instruments and real-time monitoring company. He was also a key member of the executive team at RAE when it was acquired by Honeywell in 2013 for US $340 M.

Thomas started his industrial career in regional sales for ultrasonic flow meters and gas detection equipment in 1996, and following on from being awarded a master’s degree in business and marketing from Ecole de Management de Marseille, France.
