Electronics and Test Technician

(Reference FL-001301-JD)

The Electronics and Test Technician role comes with a range of responsibilities including: procuring, assembling, testing and despatching sensor product evaluation kits; assembling sensor devices into test fixtures and executing test scripts; keeping lab equipment maintained and calibrated; and maintaining lab stocks of small tools, consumables and components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electro-mechanical skill set, with experience of both bench electronics and equipment (including manual soldering skills) and mechanical assembly.

Sensor R&D Engineer

(Reference FL-002082-JD)

The Sensor R&D Engineer will be join the team responsible for the ideation of new sensor technology and product concepts. This will include the design and development of MEMS devices for sensor products, contributing ideas for the creation of protectable IP, and design experiments and hands-on testing for proof of concept for new designs and ideas.

Reporting to the Technology Director, you will need a range of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering or Science subject. Post graduate degree ideal.
  • Extensive experience of development of at least one MEMS device.

Test Engineer

As a test engineer at Flusso you'll be responsible for the design and build of systems to test the company's gas and flow sensor products. You’ll be involved in areas such as the development of test specifications; design implementation and integration of automated test set-ups; and assembly and test of product evaluation kits for customers.

You’ll need a relevant science or engineering degree, and experience that includes:

  • theory and practice of test measurement;
  • integration of test set-ups with bespoke mechanical parts, electronic subsystems and software; and
  • development of test software, database functions and analysis/visualisation tools in Python.
