Flusso is a fabless semiconductor company, spun-out from University of Cambridge, developing flow sensing solutions for use in low-cost, high-volume applications.

Fully funded to high-volume production

Flusso completed its heavily oversubscribed Series A funding round in mid 2020 while the UK and many other countries were in lockdown.

The funding and support from some of the UK's leading technology investment funds will allow the company to take its FLS110 flow sensor into high-volume production; to invest in new sensor developments, based on its patented CMOS sensing platform; and to fully support its ambitious business development plan.

Spun out of University of Cambridge

Flusso was founded in 2016 to commercialise an innovative sensor technology, first developed by the High Voltage Microelectronics and Sensors group at the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Cambridge.

The company has exceptionally strong links within the Cambridge ecosystem, as well as access to all the world-class technology expertise, skills and support that is readily available within one of the most entrepreneurial and enterprising cities in the world.

Experienced team of scientists and engineers

Flusso has established an in-house team of over 20 scientists, engineers and semiconductor industry professionals. Bringing together unrivalled experience in fast-growing start-ups, sensors, MEMS design, fluidic integration and fabless industrialisation and scale up.

Flusso offers a complete digital flow sensing solution: to seamlessly integrate hardware and software with mechanical and fluidic components.
